Additionally, we talked about LeBron James' recent accomplishments including passing Karl Malone on the NBA's regular-season all-time scoring list. News Story Video for JMC 306

This is an explainer video that I produced about my two friends Brendon Pricco and Anthony Chiu. In the video, I go through what each of them does for the Arizona State men’s basketball team and how what they do helps in their outlook on life. Furthermore, I talk about the steps that each of them goes into when shooting and editing highlight reels and videos for the team and for their own social media brands. I personally talk to them about how they feel shooting for a collegiate team now rather than a high school, whether they prefer shooting video or photos, and if their previous knowledge and experience in the game of basketball help them shoot video.

This is an explainer video that I produced on how to shoot a basketball. In the video, I go through the step-by-step instructions on how to shoot a basketball. Furthermore, I talk about the steps that go into shooting a basketball which includes finding a comfortable grip, bending your knees, jumping upward to produce power, and flicking your wrist to provide arc and rotation on the ball. I talk about the acronym BARF, which stands for balance, arc, rotation, and followthrough. I took a variety of shots including wide and close-up shots. In the video, I shot all the clips myself. Additionally, I did the video with my friend Anthony who has adept knowledge of basketball.

After Effects Assignment

This is a video I produced in adobe premier pro featuring a lower third and an audiogram that I created in adobe after effects. In the video, I put two white boxes that animate to come on the screen along with the name and information of my friend Brendon, which fades in as time goes on in the animation. Premier pro has allowed me to finally learn something that I had an interest in, leading it to now expand into a passion of mine. After-effects has allowed me to see the finer workings and process that goes into the pop-ups and animation that I typically see on the news during a broadcast.
