About Me

​Hello, my name is Ethan Kaplan and I am currently a junior majoring in Sports Journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, at the Arizona State University Downtown Phoenix Campus. At the Walter Cronkite School, I hope to learn different journalism skills that will help me achieve my goal of making an impact on the world.

Before college, I lived in Southern California my whole life. I was born in Orange County and grew up in Garden Grove until I  moved to Huntington Beach during high school. Throughout high school, I swam on the varsity swim team. On the swim team, I built many lifelong relationships and learned valuable life lessons that I apply to my life today. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends outside of school. Some of my passions and hobbies include sports, content creation, photography, food, fashion, fitness, and design. I am the youngest in my family which makes me motivated to outperform my older siblings.
